PYE K9 Kapers began offering Basic & Intermediate Agility classes in September 2004. They are held outdoors in our training field in Keswick, which is just a few minutes outside of Fredericton. Basic will be at 9am & Intermediate at 10:30 on Saturdays. The instructor will be Julie Franklin. Julie will be assisted by Maureen Clements and/or Terry Pye.
Obedience
PYE CANINE ACADEMY will be offering three levels of obedience training. Our classes are all 'Positive re-inforcement'. Check out our website for course information & content. Yes, we use a clicker. Absolutely no corrections, compulsion, choke chains or pinch collars. |

Over thirty years experience in operating training classes and in breeding, training, and exhibiting my own Golden Retrievers in conformation, obedience, field, and human scent tracking.
Offering Puppy Basics plus all CKC levels of obedience, starting every 8 weeks throughout the year. Rally-O, Hunting Dog, and Tracking Classes available occasionally.
Also, now offering`"Puppy Boot Camp" for puppies from 7-weeks of age to 6 months. This is a four week, five-day-a-week camp attended by the puppies only! Everything a puppy needs to establish a good foundation for a successful future is included in the full-day training period; including basic obedience, puppy manners, grooming etiquette, puppy drives (including crate and/or seatbelt training, socialization periods, and puppy outings (to ensure pups are all familiarized and not traumatized by different areas, traffic, footings -- ie. cement, grates, stairs and stairwells, forested areas, etc.). Camps limited to four puppies per camp, and run every four weeks as registrations demand. Pickup and delivery within the Greater Saint John and KV area is available.
