The Canadian Kennel Club Foundation, a nationally registered charity, has announced it will provide up to $20,00 for new community-based "Pawsitivity" grants in 2015. The primary objective of Pawsitivity grants are to promote education on the diverse and beneficial role of dogs in society. Individuals and clubs are welcome to submit an application.

The CKC Foundation funds research into the causes, diagnosis and treatment of diseases in dogs. The Foundation also promotes awareness of the benefits that dogs bring to Canadian society. This includes such things as service animal training and responsible pet ownership.
